Cross ski meets slalom.
"Combines flexibility in turn shape with uncompromising grip. Great choice for front side groomer zoomer."
Need we say more?
Who knew? Even better reviews than the 74, which is pushing it, although aimed at a generally higher performing skier.
"All around strong performer for all around strong performers."
"Arc on rails! This is all about power carving on the groomed."
"Great ski for on-the-verge expert, good every day tool for instructor."
"Great hard snow biased ski, best for skiers with good skill set"
Good choice for for the casual, less-than-committed dabbler, but still capable of technical growth. Female equivalent to the Igniter. Surprisingly versatile for recreational skiers who are neither fast nor aggressive. Penultimate "cruiser."
Typical comments "Nothing spectacular, but above average for this kind of ski," and, "Fun, Fun, Fun!"
Nordica doesn't just cover the bases, they smother the bases. The Tempest is another versatile, 80mm footprint ski equally at home on or off piste. The Firearrow 80 leans a bit more to the technical side, the Tempest is somewhat more aimed at off-piste and a bit less demanding.
"Quick, easy, nimble, smooth and solid."
"Less energy than the Firearrow, but competent."
Should be a big hit for Nordica. Our skiers loved it.
"Very energetic, lightweight ski. Great addition to Nordica line."
"Ultra lightweight. Smooth."
"Appropriate name. This was my favorite in the 'side country' group."
"Wow! Solid edge hold, good energy and rebound, Feels a bit like an 'old school' GS all dressed up in a 'new school' suit."
"Superior crud ski."
"1-ski-quiver."
Not so likely to be a hit. Our skiers gave lukewarm praise at best when considering it adequate as an all mountain/park crossover. Probably best left in the park.
"Nordica has too many skis in this width group. The winners will be the Enforcer and Hell & Back."
"Easy to turn, but slips in long carves."
"Feels a bit squirrly."
"For this price range, should be a better ski. It isn't."
